RAF k type dinghy mast.
This tubular aluminium mast consists of seven telescopic tubes which when closed, are a total length of 15 inches. When they are fully extended they reach an overall length of 7 feet 2 1/2 inches. Each tube section locks into place by a small sprung tab, which when pressed unlocks. The top of the mast is fitted with a collar to which three string guide lines are fitted, with metal end clips. The lower mast section is plugged and this has an Air Ministry and Kings crown stamp (see photos).
It is in an excellent un-issued condition.
