RAF electrically heated hand muff, Mk 2.
For use with a 12 volt system. Made from olive drab cotton canvas with knitted cuffs to help keep the heat in. Connected with a wiring loom and metal heated clothing type plug to an internal heating element (see photo). White cotton printed label with A.M. and kings crown. It has a second 'Windak' silk makers label. Size approximately, 13 x 9" and in a good 'used' condition. The knitted cuffs have some moth damage (see photos). Issued to the RAF & AAF alike.
