RAF G type oxygen mask fitted with type 28 microphone.
Air Ministry stores reference number 6D/643, size large.
The rubber mask is in an excellent 'used' condition, without any major defects or cracks. The nose wire is still in place and mask overall shape is very good. Moulded marks, AM Large, under the chin. The elastic harness is good albeit a little stretched, and it has the early pattern fastening clip. The mask is fitted with a type 28 carbon microphone and loom, reference number 10A/12572. The inside of the mask is chamois leather lined, which is very good showing little signs of wear.
A very good example of a g type oxygen mask with a rare microphone. These masks are becoming increasingly harder to find.
