South African air force issue observer's & air gunners flying log book (1942).
Issued to Sgt. R.A. Lindon, who qualified as an air gunner and bomb aimer in 1943 and 1944.
The Log has about 30 pages of entries, which include rubber stamps and signatures.
He seems to be flying in Fairey Battle, Avro Anson and Airspeed Oxford aircraft, duties include Navigator, Air Gunner , Bomb Aimer.
All entries are for the period of 1943-46, and look to be mainly training exercises but research is needed.
With the Log Book are two separate papers, one listing all of the aircraft serial numbers he flew in and a headed letter from an RAF historian.
Due to ongoing issues with European Customs, this item is NOT FOR SALE to the EU.
