RAF first pattern c type flying helmet

RAF first pattern type c fying helmet, fully wired.

This leather flying helmet has an Air Ministry stores reference 22C/451, which is still feintly stamped on the side. This relates to a good Size 3. It is in a 'used' condition, fully wired with a wiring loom, and a pair of type 32 receivers also a bell/jack plug and a microphone plug. The rubber earcups are good, although they have some cracking to the edge (see photos). The outside leather is in a good 'used' condition and the leather chin strap still retains the end metal vee tip. The Bennetts buckle fastener is in a good working condition. It has the addition of a oxygen mask, metal fixing clip to the one side. The inside chamois leather liner is in a good condition.
