A rare pair of RAF 1919 pattern service dress, ordinary airman's breeches.

Worn throughout the 1920's & 30's these RAF blue serge fabric breeches would have been worn with puttees (see last photos). They have two frog mouth pockets to the front, and an adjustment strap to the rear. Rear fish tail style waistband. Lace up calf bottoms and with buttons to the fly and waist for the addition of braces. The 1919 pattern o/a uniform can clearly be seen here in the last photos of RAF 600 Squadron, Tangmere, 1934.

Approximate size, Waist = 34", inside Leg = 25".

No label, just a tailors mark on a pocket.

In a very good condition, with some surface mothing in places but no holes (see photos).
