WW2 RAF other ranks trousers large size

RAF sergeant / other ranks blue grey service dress trousers.

This type of wartime dated trousers are very rare to find, especially in this size and condition. They are usually found completely worn out, mainly because they were a favoured workwear, bought from surplus stores after the war.

These are the early pattern with a rear fish tail waist band, metal buttons, and still have the original label attached to the outside. Size No. 29 (for measurements see photos) and dated 1943. War Depatment rubber stamp just visible inside with a 1943 issue date letter. Full set of grey metal buttons, with side pockets, and 2 inch turn ups (for letting down, to lengthen the already 32" leg).

Incredibly, this superb pair of trousers appear to be in a moth free condition.
