A 19th century copper jug with a side handle. This is not an exceptional piece of copper but it does have exceptionally good provenance. The engraved crest, which has 'P.W' underneath a Prince of Wales feathers, shows that this would once have been in the Royal kitchens of Edward VII, before he became king, during the time when he was the Prince of Wales, and it dates from c.1870. It has a castellated seam up the side, a rolled seam around the base and a rolled rim. There is very slight denting to the copper and there are a couple of splits in the rim.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £25. Western Europe add £10.
