Dimensions:
A small, pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a pineapple. This mould is marked, in the casting on the hinge, ‘*G L*’ and to the other side is the pattern number ‘*231*’. This is probably the mark of the French company Letang but, for some reason, the initials have been reversed. It dates from c.1880. The pineapple is well detailed and the mould would turn out well. It is in very good condition. The interior is still in good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has a dark patina.
