Two beautiful, 19th century, French crystal, lidded jugs with gilt decoration. Not a pair, as we have a large and a small example, but they are being sold, together as it would be such a shame to split them. Each one is hand blown and beautifully shaped with a ribbed form. They are then decorated, in the Arts Nouveau style, with raised gilding depicting water lilies. The rims of the jugs and the lids are gilded with a feathered effect. They are stunning pieces, they date from c.1890 and both jugs and lids are in excellent condition.
