Small, 19th century cast iron, coffee mill.

A small, 19th century, cast iron coffee mill made by Peugeot. This piece is marked, in the casting, 'PEUGEOT FRERES BREVETES S.G.D.G.' and it is also marked with '00' which relates to the size. The double 0 was the smallest size that Peugeot made in this form of coffee mill. It dates from c.1880. There is some marking to the front of the wooden draw, which has been caused by woodworm. Other than this the piece is in good condition and it is still fully functional.
