An English copper preserve pan with fancy, bronze handles. This shape of handle is one of the less common forms and the pan dates from c.1860. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it has a rolled rim. The pan measures 32.5cm. diameter by 10cm. high and overall, with the handles, it is 40.5cm. wide by 13.5cm. high. The general condition is good, but there is very slight denting and also a little pitting to the copper on both the interior and the exterior of the pan.
