A Victorian copper saucepan and cover with steel handles which have arrowhead shaped fittings. These are the typical English form of handle and the piece dates from c.1880. The base is stamped with a letter 'E' but there are no manufacturers marks. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and has castellated seams around the base and up the side. 
The  saucepan measures 16.8cm. diameter by 12 cm. high and the overall length of the pan and handle is 32.2cm. 
It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
