A 19th century, French copper casserole. This piece is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper. It has castellated seams around the base and up the side and it dates from c.1880. The brass handles are very simple in form. The pan measures 30cm. long by 19cm. wide and 15.5cm. deep. Overall, including the handles, it is 41.2cm. long by 19cm. high. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
