Small, French pie plate

A small, French copper pie plate. It is very interesting the way that this has been made, as there is a brased seam running across the middle. The sheet of copper wasn’t large enough, so two small sheets have been joined together. This adds character to the piece which dates from c.1880. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned quite recently.
