Unusual Wedgwood majolica plate

An unusual, Wedgwood, majolica plate. This piece is marked ‘WEDGWOOD’ and it is also impressed with the three letter date code, ‘NOM’, for the year 1884. There is a pattern number ‘3099’ painted in blue.The plate is moulded with flowers and insects which are then coloured in red, shades of brown, yellow and blue. The whole has an oriental influence. It is in excellent condition but there is very slight staining to the reverse of the plate.
