A  really good quality, French copper, deep saute pan  and cover with  steel handles. Both the side of the pan and the lid are marked with the number '24'. This relates to the internal diameter of the pan. It dates from c.1890.  It is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and it is in excellent condition. This shape of handle was used by a few different French manufacturers but they are always on exceptional quality pieces.   The interior has been re-tinned, in the traditional manner, so that the piece can be used. Size: Diameter of pan 24.5cm Depth of pan 7.5cm Overall length of pan and handle 50.5cm.
