A very old, large, reclaimed oak beam. The beam has a fantastic rustic appearance that shows its considerable age and has interesting characteristics and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The beam is very large, at over 3 meters (10ft) and would make an ideal feature beam in a home. The beam is reclaimed and there are signs of wear and age. The beam has a rustic appearance. There are some splits, holes and surface cracks but the beam is solid and stable. The are are some notches, knocks and natural wear and erosion. Some cut outs from previous use. Some slight colour variation, marks and scratches. There are woodworm holes but the woodworm has been treated. One end is uneven and has a nail. Please see pictures for condition details. The beam is extremely large and heavy and ideal for a rustic home project.
