A handsome, reclaimed, cast stone fire surround. The surround has a very nice appearance with attractive deep ogee style moulding and chunky feet and is of a medium size. The fire surround could be paired with a cast iron fire basket to achieve a lovely period look for a fireplace. The surround is in good reclaimed condition with some signs of age and use, as expected. The stone has some discolouration, scratches and marks, especially to the crossbar. The fire has some residue fixing concrete or similar in-between the joints that will need to be removed by purchaser and re-done for fitting. The stone has some knocks and chips, mainly to the edges and corners. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire surround is a desirable item and of a good size, with a style suiting both period and modern properties.
