An original, reclaimed, stripped pine internal six panel door, likely to date to the late Georgian period. The door is well made and solid and has a very nice design of the period, with six panels, two smaller over two larger and two medium sized panels at the base. The recessed panels have decorative mouldings around them. The pine has been stripped and then a light waxed finish has been applied at some point. The door has some signs of wear and some damage commensurate with its considerable age. The door has some holes and marks left from hardware removal. There are some surface splits and some cracks, including in one panel. One of the base edges has sustained some damage that has been repaired but we believe we can repair it to a higher standard, if required, for an extra cost. Please contact us for details. The door had a dart board attached to it at some point and there are several small holes in a circular pattern on one side of the door. Purchaser could apply some filler to the holes to try and even them out. Please contact us if you need advice. The door height and width may need slight levelling. There is some damage at the top of the door where the top hinge sat. The door has some patch repairs. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has great character and is of a very nice Georgian design, ideal for a period home.
