A reclaimed, Gothic, cast iron foot scraper / boot remover. The foot scraper has a nice traditional, Gothic, appearance with trefoil cut outs and Gothic style spiked finials on either side. The scraper is dual use with the top section being used to scrape mud from boots and the arch below that is designed for assisting with boot removal when you place the back of your boot in the arch space. The iron has been blacked and polished and it has a good finish. The scraper is reclaimed and has some small signs of use and wear, as expected. The iron has some small scratches and marks from use. The iron has a pitted, textured finish from casting. The foot scraper has no holes in the feet for fixing screws. We are unsure if the scraper ever had holes or if they have been filled. Purchaser will need to drill holes in the feet for fixings so the scraper can be attached to the floor. Please see pictures for condition details. The scraper has an interesting Gothic appearance and is a useful item that will add character to the outside of a house or in a garden.
