Dimensions:
A set of 23 original, reclaimed, Victorian salt glaze rope edge tiles. The tiles were used for path edging and could be used for this purpose again or perhaps to finish a flower bed or similar. The tiles have a thick rope top and base which is designed to be sunk in to the ground. The tiles have a salt glaze and they have a rich dark orange colour. The tiles are in useable condition but they do have some damage and wear, as expected of antique items. Most tiles have breaks to the base section that sinks in to the ground (two tiles are intact). The tiles are still useable and the damage will not be noticed once they are sunk into the ground. The rope sections are mainly intact with some knocks and chips to some and some natural cracks. There is some slight colour variation and marks. Please see pictures for condition details. The tiles have a very nice look and are ideal for adding character to a garden or outside space.
