M1749 TEN RECLAIMED SMALL OLD TEAK BOARDS FOR HOME / BOAT / YACHT

Code: M1749

SOLD

Ten, reclaimed, small teak boards that are old and are likely to date to the late Victorian or early Edwardian period. The boards are thick and of a good quality and are ideal for a home, yacht or boat project. The boards are currently un-sanded, apart from one board in pictures 5-7 that has been lightly sanded to illustrate the colour and texture of the boards once sanded. Most of the boards have thin tabs at one end or both ends and they can be cut by purchaser to remove if desired. Some of the boards have a groove on the side edge. The board ends are currently cut at angles but they could be cut to make them square at the ends giving each board an approximate length of 66cm once cut. The current length of one side edge is 85cm approx, including angled end. Each board could be cut into three batons of 6cm width if less wide teak is required for your project. Board thickness is 3.6cm.

The boards are in good solid condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected. The boards have some small holes, knocks, cracks, notched edges and thin splits. Some of the tab ends have splits, breaks and cracks. The boards have some texture and discolouration. The boards will likely need cutting at each end as they are currently angled. Please see pictures for condition details. The boards are very useful and they have a very nice appearance, ideal for a project.
