A handsome reclaimed oak cottage external door with glazed panel. The door is heavy and well made with mortise and tenon joints. The door has a nice design with vertical panels created by oak cover strips. The door has a small glazed panel fitted with bullseye glass. The door has a letter plate and an oak weather strip. The oak has been varnished and it has a good colour, highlighting the very attractive wood grain.
The door is in good reclaimed condition with some slight signs of wear and age, as expected. The door has some holes, indentations and marks from hardware removal. There are some scratches and marks. The door was missing two oak cover strip pieces, in the centre, above and below the glazed panel. The replacement cover strips have been stained but are of a slightly different colour to the rest of the door. The varnish has some marks and discolouration, especially to the base of the door. The door is out of square by 3-4mm, please talk to us if you would like any further information about this. The hinges and the letter plate have some tarnish. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is a very nice rustic item, ideal for a cottage or country home and has an abundance of charm and character.
