A pair of elegant, reclaimed, pitch pine storm doors. The doors have a lovely appearance, are very solid and heavy and could be used as bathroom/ensuite doors, for a cupboard or perhaps larder or pantry doors. The doors are very ornate and the front face of the doors have raised and fielded panels with thick decorative mouldings surrounding them. The doors have shelves with carved detailing below them and there is a rebated inner edge so the doors sit nicely together. Each door has a larger and a smaller square panel with leaded stained glass. The stained glass has been restored and is a real feature of the doors with beautiful red flower detailing and green leaves. The heavy paint finish the doors had has been stripped and although colour can still be seen, the doors are ready for re-painting by purchaser. The doors are reclaimed antiques and therefore have some signs of age and wear. The doors have some holes and marks from hardware removal. The doors have been sanded but there is residue paint and various colours can be seen in areas. The doors have some chips and wear and there is some damage to the base of one door. There is some slight separation to some of the moulding joins. The door height may need slight levelling. The inside face has some slight wear to a section of the inner edge. Some filler can be seen in-between some of the door joins. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors are very attractive, are an unusual find and have a lovely design, perfect for adding period character to a home.
