DP0366 TWO RECLAIMED VICTORIAN 4 PANEL DOORS FOR USE AS CUPBOARD PAIR

Code: DP0366

SOLD

Two reclaimed, Victorian, four panel painted pine doors that are suitable for use as a pair for a cupboard or wardrobe. The doors have a traditional design with two larger panels over two smaller panels and are solid and well made. The doors have recessed panels with decorative mouldings on one face and no beading on the other face. The doors have been painted white but there are some marks, scratches, flakes and chips to the paint and purchaser may wish to sand and re-paint the doors to suit. The doors were used individually and one door will need patch repairs to hardware holes and hinge slots for them to be used as a pair. We can patch repair holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The doors are in reclaimed condition with some signs of age and use, as expected of antique items. The doors have some knocks and chips, especially to the edges and corners. There is some light damage to the doors near the base edges. There are some holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. The door heights may need slight levelling. One top corner has a knock where wood has broken away but it has been repaired with wood glue. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very nice traditional appearance and are in good condition, making them ideal for adding period character to a home.
