A pair of reclaimed Art Deco oak internal doors. The doors have an interesting period appearance with each door having 4 panels. Three panels of each door are recessed with decorative mouldings and the bottom panel is fitted with a metal grill. The front face of the doors have been varnished or stained and the back face of the doors have been painted white. The paint has some chips and flaking and the front face has some discolouration and fading and purchaser may wish to sand and re-finish the doors to suit. The front face of the doors have veneered kick plates but purchaser may prefer to remove these before re-finishing the doors. The wood has a very interesting grain and the doors are solid and well constructed with mortise and tenon joints. The doors are reclaimed and therefore have some signs of use and wear, as expected of antique items. There are some knocks and chips, mainly to the edges and corners and one of the doors has a deep scratch on the back face. The metal grills have some surface rust and tarnish. There are some holes, marks and staining left from hardware removal. Some of the wooden panels have thin surface splits but they are stable. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have an interesting period appearance and would make a lovely feature in the home.
