A pair of reclaimed, late Victorian, stripped pine cupboard doors and frame, likely to date to C.1900. The doors have a traditional appearance with four recessed panels, with decorative mouldings around the panels on the front face. The doors have rebated inner edges so they sit together nicely and a small porcelain pull handle on the right hand door. The doors are set into a simple pine frame. The frame and doors have been stripped to bare wood and then it appears a waxed finish may have been applied. The cupboard doors are of a good size and would be ideal for a bedroom or kitchen. The doors are attached to the frame and two wooden braces have been temporarily added to the back to keep the frames shape, purchaser will need to remove these before fitting. The doors are in reclaimed condition with some signs of age and some damage, as expected of reclaimed antiques. The pine has some cracks and surface splits but the cupboard doors are in solid condition. There are some small holes, wood knots, knocks and chips, especially to the corners and edges. The left hand side of the frame has a cut out and some damage at the base. The back of the frame has some metal strengthening brackets added. There are some holes and marks left from hardware removal. The pine has some discolouration and darker staining. The hinges have some surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The cupboard doors are very useful for a project and would add lovely period character to a home.
