The interior to the lid bears manufacturer's trade label: Manufacturers of all kinds of Leather Portmanteaus, and of the New-Invented Brass Travelling Trunks JAMES WYE By Royal Appointment ORIGINAL MILITARY & ARMY TRUNKS (MAKERS) 394 (opposite…). The box has a removable wooden cover to void interior beneath and working lock and key.
