Art Deco French Steel Cut Beaded Bag

A beautiful Art Deco French Steel Cut Micro Beaded bag with a gorgeous chamois lining.  This wonderful little bag is superbly beaded with a rich bronze gold tone and accents of light blue, red and green.  A pretty stylised design and matching bronze and blue tassles make this so typical of the Art Deco period.  The frame and chain handle are gold tone.  The frame prettily decorated.  There is a push button clasp to open the bag and a small decorative piece sitting at the front and centre of the frame to ensure ease of opening.  Inside the bag is a deep ochre chamois lining and a small 'Made in France' tag.  Length including the handle 42.5 cm.  Dimensions are approximate.

The bag is in excellent condition inside and out with no loss of beads and no damage to the chamois lining.  The tassles are all intact and the chain and frame are in good order.  A wonderful example.
