A rare Celine Navy Leather Gold Toggle Top Handle Bag. This is a late 20th Century Celine, Paris top handled bag. Made in Italy. This beautiful bag has a navy leather body with a top handle and gold tone hardware. The clasp is a gold tone toggle. The handle height is 12 cm. Inside the bag is red fabric lining and an internal zip pocket. Just under the zip is the leather Celine tag with identification numbers M 16 1. This is a beautiful and rare example of a Celine, Paris bag.
The outside of the bag has a number of small surface scuffs commensurate with age. The handle has a small crack in the leather which is shown in one of the accompanying pictures. Please examine the pictures carefully. Inside the bag is in excellent condition. This bag comes with an independent certificate of authenticity.
