A fabulous 1950's compact carryall unattributed but possibly Evans, USA. This lovely carryall is made of gold tone metal with a weave designed body and heavy gold mesh carry strap. It comprises two sections. In section one here is a full length mirror in the lid, an integral powder compact, an open space which holds a small pouch which can take sewing equipment and a comb and an integral lipstick holder. The second section has a large compartment to hold a dance card or handkerchief. It comes with its original pouch and original box.
This super compact carryall is in excellent condition throughout with only a small amount of tarnish on one side at the edge and a small mark near the opening of the powder well. The pouch is in great condition and the red/silver box is complete although it is fraying and one side has come apart,
