A superb silver and guilloche enamel powder compact.  This pretty powder compact is hexagonal in design and has a stunning silvery white guilloche enamel lid with a crown incorporating naval ships sitting in the centre.  The compact is fully hallmarked for John William Barrett, Birmingham, 1955.  

This stylish compact is in excellent condition.  The enamel is beautiful with a really tiny nibble near the opening clasps.  There are some light surface scratches.  The clasp closes with a click and it opens easily.
