Original Early 1980s German Military HBT Blouson Work Jacket

Original Early 1980s German Military HBT Blouson Work Jacket

Code: 52015

SOLD

An original German military chore jacket made from HBT in the early 1980s.

This military work jacket is made from a poly/cotton mix herringbone twill material and is cut in a classic style meaning it could easily pass as an earlier piece. It is a short blouson style jacket as was popular in the middle of the 20th Century. It features two flapped chest pockets and a fly front. The front and pockets fasten with large metal dish buttons and the cuff has a buttoning function, although the buttons have been removed.

Inside the tunic is an interior pocket which fastens with a two position tab and button. To this the original label is present and bears the name 'Edgar Reddig'. There is also a size tag to the neck which reads '50'.

The tunic will fit around a 44" chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat measures -

Chest - 24 1/2"
Inside arm - 18 1/4"
Outside arm - 26 1/2"
Length - 25"
Waist - 21"
Shoulders - 18"

The jacket is in good condition with only limited signs of wear and use. Overall it displays very well but please bear in mind that this is a vintage item so may have other small issues commensurate with age.

Altogether a nice vintage work jacket with some great details - and buttons!
