An original pair of British Army MT goggles and box as worn by drivers, tank crews, dispatch riders and more, throughout the Second World War.
These goggles are the early pattern with the grey coloured stockinette sides as opposed to the later leather examples. The feature clear lenses which are more sought-after than the tinted type in the present day.
The condition of the goggles is reasonable and they display OK. The lenses show the usual signs of delamination and the strap has lost most of its elasticity. The condition has been taken into account with price.
Whilst not the finest pair of goggles, they would still make a good addition to a display and offer a much cheaper alternative.
