White painted crown with lower rolled edge brim. Black painted "F.G" to the front and rear with double black band denoting "Sector Captain / Area Instructor" .Early pattern Black treated linen liner with rubber oval crown pad ,the frame with 1939 date and makers details . Elasticated webbing chinstrap . Complete with a very RARE Mk1 Anti gas camouflaged neck flap that just secures to the brim of the helmet . Interior of flap with faint makers stamp possibly dated 1939 .Some service wear, paint chips and rusting to the exterior of the helmet . Gas flap remains supple but with a couple of small tears. good untouched helmet.
