Delftware, or tin-glazed earthenware bin labels are very much less often seen than pottery ones - and they are earlier. Typically this label has a blueish hue to the background and the lettering is in a very deep shade of magenta.
Lisbon is a wine name not often seen, but in the 18th century it was distinguished from Bucellas, a nearby wine region that is still recognised today - while Lisbon is not.
The label is in good unrestored condition with only a couple of very minor chips which cannot be seen from the front. The glaze is in good 'bright' condition.
