For offer is a delightful 19th Century Thomas Parr Staffordshire Figure of Uncle Tom and Eva from Harriet Beecher Stowe's popular and influential novel Uncle Tom's Cabin.
The figure has Uncle Tom explaining to Eva that he is writing to his family.
In good condition but with some rubbing of the inscription, and of hands and feet and flaking on the head of Uncle Tom as shown in the photographs and with general crazing too.
Typically unmarked on the base.
