A delightful early 19th Century Swansea porcelain plate.
Possibly decorated by William Billingsley and painted with roses and cornflowers.
Labeled on reverse showing ex-Sherman collection.
Width 20.5 cm.
No chips, cracks or restoration. Faint surface scratches from use, together with rubbed gilt on edging.
An attractive item and so typical of the wondeful quality of Swansea porcelain.
