This is a splendid 1780-90 Worcester Porcelain Teabowl and Saucer in the 'Bandstand Pattern which takes its name from the bandstand like building in the foreground of this Chinese river scene.
The saucer has a gilt rim and an inner gilt circle for the bordering. The cup has a gilt rim. It has a gilt rim. The set displays delightfully.
Both items have the Worcester markings on the base.
The tea bowl and saucer are both in very good condition. There is typical gilt wear on the rim of the cup and very minor gilt wear on the saucer. There are a few minor markings grouped together on the base of the cup as shown in the photographs which are highlighted for accuracy of description and do not impact on the overall display image of the piece.
