Very attractive, and desirable, pair of 19th Century 'Grand Tour' Figured Griotte Marble Obelisks. 

The decorative obelisks are a rich colour and of substantial weight. They and are raised on square (8.5 cms) Senia marble and slate plinths.

The obelisks are truly in excellent condition for over 100 years old with only the slightest of chips on the underside of one the slate bases, and a tiny chip on the absolute tip of one of the obelisks. Both are very difficult to spot, and in no way detract from the beauty of these pieces, but in the interests of transparency we want to highlight them to you. They are of course reflected in the price and are shown in the photographs. Stunning pieces to enhance any room.
