Gary started his antiques business in 1982 at the age of 17. With a passion for antique furniture since childhood, he preferred to go to the auctions rather than to school. In 1984, after a couple of years being a 'runner', he opened his first warehouse selling furniture to the trade.
With Gary's experience and knowledge of period furniture, we take great pride in the quality of furniture that we sell and are constantly aware of current price trends. All of our stock is genuine and if anything has any minor issues, these will be pointed out.
The majority of our business is still trade, but for discerning private clients we offer confidence and guarantees that our furniture is exactly what we say it is, so they can buy with the security and knowledge they are getting a genuine, honest piece of furniture at a sensible price.
We have over 2000 items of C17th, C18th and early C19th fine quality furniture and objects in stock, with emphasis on good colour, original surface and style. Restrained country house furniture, decorated furniture to funky and the unusual.
