Impressive C19th French gilt brass jardiniere; the circular open top with a fine detailed moulded edge above ribbons and swags festooned with flowers on an unusual quilted trellis work background. Raised on elegant reeded supports, headed with stiff leaf capitals The supports joined by a concave triangular stretcher above the reeded swept legs terminating in lion ball and claw feet. The interior retaining its original lift out zinc liner with small carrying handles.
