Good large Regency papier mache tray on stand, of oval form and large proportions; the flared raised gallery with a slender moulded edge, with gilt decoration and pierced carrying handles to either side; surrounding a finely painted scene of a peacock observing a butterfly with large colourful flowers and foliage. Raised on a custom made later stand of faux bamboo design with shaped pierced corner brackets with turned tapering legs united by a turned x stretcher, all with gilt collars
