"The console arrived today safe and sound. It was exciting to finally see it under all the layers of packaging. We will get it screwed to the wall then we can enjoy it. We'll send you a photo of it in its new home. Thankyou for the great service, thankyou for answering all my questions so promptly, providing all the information on the console and for having it so well packaged. There was no way any harm could come to it in transit! Lyn, Australia"
"Gary Wright Antiques is an absolute treasure trove lovingly and enthusiastically garnered by a man who clearly loves the thrill of the chase! Gary has an exceptional eye for beautiful antiques, a deep knowledge of their provenance and is scrupulously honest in his pricing. He goes to great lengths to find what you are looking for and exceeding your expectations. Once a client always a client of Gary's . . . . . and a friend".
"We have bought many beautiful pieces of furniture from Gary on different occasions and have been delighted with our purchases. The high quality and extensive range of the stock, his expert knowledge and fair value for money have made Gary and Gill a delight to deal with."
"I have always been impressed by Gary's expert knowledge of 17th, 18th and 19th century furniture. He very effectively combines this with an up to date understanding of current market values, always selling at a fair market price, enabling you to buy with confidence. His “what you see is what you get” approach to antiques is refreshingly free of elaborate waffle. Over the last few years, with Gary’s help, we have furnished our Cotswold home with a classic collection of country house furniture and objects. I could not be happier with the service he has provided and have happily introduced him to a number of my friends."

"Buying off a website without actually being able to inspect an article first hand can be something of a nightmare - however the piece of furniture we bought from Gary Wright Antiques Ltd was exactly as described in the listing - communication with the shop was easy - and the delivery smooth and to time. The quality was excellent and at a reasonable price. We could not ask for more and heartily recommend the shop and its service."
"What's alright for Rhid(ian Llewellyn) is alright for me. Bought a lovely corner cupboard from Gary who was polite and easy to get on with. Simon Brown (Rhid was a neighbour of mine years ago. Small world)"
My luck was in when I found , on line, that Gary Wright Antiques had what looked to be the perfect George 1 mirror, one, surprisingly, covered with engraved signatures by various celebrated actors of the '30s. The piece had to sit on a George 1 fire surround ( no mantlepiece !) so its dimensions were crucial. GWA were very patient with my many questions, subsequently supplied me with information as to the mirror's provenance and former owner, and even contacted the auctioneers they had bought it from for me. Altogether this was a most happy experience . Adam Pollock
We recently purchased a matching pair of late 19th century decorated chest of drawers from Gary Wright Antiques. These were good quality, and exactly as described to us by Gary. They were delivered to us promptly. All in all a professional service that I would have no hesitation in recommending to others. Noel Botha
We visited Gary’s store for the first time recently and came away with a delightful Georgian Chippendale style urn stand and a beautiful George II mirror, both in original condition and having wonderful colour. We hadn’t set out to buy either but were most impressed by their quality. Gary was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He has an incredible stock of good quality and interesting antiques, at fair prices. It was a pleasure doing business with him and we look forward to a return visit.

Dear Gill and Gary, Oh my goodness!!!! How exquisite! We are absolutely delighted with this sofa table ;>) Many, many thanks for the opportunity to “foster care” for this piece for the many more generations who will enjoy it! I always hope that folks who live with period pieces of furniture, accessories and works of art enjoy the concept that, just as others have lived with these pieces before us, others will live with and appreciate them for generations to come. Of course, purchasing through the internet, one cannot actually see the patina~~ to find a trusted dealer who understands, respects and cares for these treasures is a “treasure” in itself! We are so happy to have found you and look forward to a continuing relationship with both of you.
