A rare and elegant George III pair of mahogany window seats, in the manner of George Hepplewhite; the raised scrolled ends, with moulded shaped supports, headed with carved, flower head, paterae.  The bow fronted seats, on a shallow moulded edge seat frame, raised on fluted, square, tapering legs, headed with carved flower head paterae, which is repeated on all sides; terminating in spade feet.
Provenance Lord Cromwell of Sprotborough Hall, Yorkshire (now extinct) Thence by descent.
