An impressive Regency mahogany hat and coat hall stand of large proportions; the central turned column with 9 shaped arms terminating with a mushroom finial; below the arms the column having raised flutes finishing with a gadrooned moulding on a triangular platform with concave sides raised on three scrolled legs with roundels to either side terminating in bold carved lion paw feet. Good rich colour and patination. In the manner of Gillows.
