Wiktor Berndt Flygsfors Mother and child vase Sweden 1960

A moulded glass design with a mother and child motif that also look a bit loke electricity pylons. This was designed by Wiktor Berndt for Flygsfors, Sweden and is signed and dated to 1960 on the base.

Excellent used condition.

Wiktor Berndt was the cheif designer for the Flygsfors glass factory in Sweden where he worked from 1955-74. He  started as a designer of glass lighting but moved on to art glass and is best known for a range of vases with pressed human and animal motifs. These are now highly collectable and are typical designs for their time.
