An excellent George III silver snuff box, made in London in 1802 by William Edwards. The oval shaped box has an interlocking tartan design all over. Generally the box is in superb condition with original gilding inside. There are a full set of crisp hallmarks inside although the makers mark is rubbed but legable. There is also an old auction sticker from Christies of London on the inside of the lid. An unusual shape and highly collectable.
