Victorian silver and Montrose agate brooch, c.1880

A lovely Victorian Scottish silver mounted Montrose agate brooch, unmarked made around 1880 by the style. In total there are 8 individually cut agates divided into eight panels of Montrose agates. All the agates are in excellent condition as is the brooch overall. The silver back has a "C" clasp and pin with a slate back to add strength. A gorgeous example of a Scottish Montrose agate brooch.
